You may also donate by calling 212-254-3511 or writing to MoCCA, 594 Broadway, suite 401, New York, NY 10012. 2009 has been a great year for the museum. Perhaps you've seen the rave reviews for our recent major exhibit, Sounds and Pauses: The Comics of David Mazzucchelli, or seen our current celebration of The Art of Archie Comics? Or attended our 2009 free-to-members MoCCA Thursdays that featured such guest speakers as animation historians John Canemaker and Jerry Beck, political cartoonist Ted Rall, X-MEN writer Chris Claremont, cartoonist Peter Kuper, comics artist Molly Crabapple, media darlings The Yes Men, Harvey Kurtzman expert Denis Kitchen and many more? MoCCA continues to champion the artform with these live events, which have often been attended by standing-room only audiences. We are extremely thankful for our many successes this past year and we hope to continue to grow. And as we grow, we have greater expenses to meet. These expenses include all of the excellent exhibitions and events we produce, as well as our burgeoning educational and youth programs. We have taken great steps in this past year, and we are taking even greater strides in 2010. I ask you to continue your support of MoCCA by giving to our End of Year Appeal to help us guarantee our financial well-being as we move forward to the new year. Thank you for all of your support to the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art. Sincerely,
Ellen S. Abramowitz
